The Mystery Dinghy Cruise took place on Wednesday 13th July with 7 boats setting off for Great Bull Hill sandbank at the Southern end of the Estuary.

It was all a bit mysterious initially as not many of us had heard of Great Bull Hill & none of us could imagine what the various bags in the rescue boat were for. Not for long though as there was plenty of wind and tide to carry us down to the sandbank where we proceeded to play beach cricket and drink fine fruit juices prepared by Liz & Aidan! Beautiful blue skies, sparkling seas and Exe Sailing Clubs evening race taking place behind us in the channel made for a truly magical outing.

The Commodore's cruise for dinghies on 23rd July was to promise more of the same but this time with Strawberries and Cream at our destination!
