SYC organises 3 races each year for our members only. Two of these are to destinations in Dartmouth and Brixham and members often stay overnight at the destinations and enjoy a meal in a local pub or yacht club. A third race is a triangular race to Teignmouth and the Ore Stone, returning the same evening.

In addition members have been invited to join in other races organised at other clubs on the Exe and each year one of the clubs on the Exe organises the annual Exe Regatta which includes dinghy and yacht races.

Race Dates set for 2023

• Newport Trophy (to the Dart): starting at Exe SWM on Saturday 17 June at 09:00
• Drew Trophy (to Brixham): starting at Exe SWM on Saturday 22 July at 10:00
• Chaos Trophy (Chase Around the Ore Stone and back to Exe SWM): starting at Exe SWM on Saturday 16 September at 10:00
• Exe Regatta (organised in 2023 by Topsham Sailing Club) on 1/2nd and 8/9 July.
