How to book your course
Please email the relevant course contact shown in the Training Calendar.
The course organiser will reserve your place or add your name to a waiting list. Once your place is confirmed the course organiser will ask you to complete your booking using one of the methods below.
For SYC Junior Sailing Courses:
Information about Junior Sailing and how to book can be found here
For SYC Adult Courses:
Read the Terms and Conditions and complete the Booking Form
Arrange payment by Bank Transfer (BACS) (preferred method) or cheque (details are on the Booking Form)
Return your completed form to the SYC Training Officer by email or post (if enclosing a cheque)
For SYC Partner Courses (Haven Banks and SFCC):
Use the provider’s booking arrangements and arrange payment directly to them
For Class/Fleet Training (Juniors and Adults):
Follow the booking arrangements advised by the Fleet Captain/Organiser
Once you've booked you’ll receive further information about your training or course shortly before your course starts.
Please read this carefully. It will confirm important information such as the date and time of your training or course, where to meet, what clothing and anything else you may need to bring with you. In some cases it may refer to pre-course work you need to complete.

Grant Funding - Exe Regatta Project
Members who undertake training which enables them to actively help with the organisation and management of sailing on the Exe Estuary are eligible for financial assistance (up to 50% of training fees) from the Exe Regatta Project Fund. You can find further information about how to claim and application forms on the Exe Regatta website. All claims must be countersigned by the SYC Training Officer before submission.
